I endorse National Survivor Network’s  letter outlining the reasons we applaud the National Human Trafficking Hotline’s policy of not automatically referring all tips to law enforcement, and why we fear that a change in this policy would be detrimental to survivors.

I urge you to continue to support a national hotline for survivors, instead of shifting the focus to a national hotline that places the pressure of prosecution over the need to get services to the people who need it most.
