John has dedicated the past 25 years to advancing novel oncolytic therapies for individuals battling cancer within the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry's Global Drug Development sector.

His most recent triumph lies in the successful IPO launch of CG Oncology, where he presently serves as Vice President of Clinical Operations. The CG Oncology IPO stands as one of the most successful biotech IPO launches in recent memory. However, beyond the financial milestones, John derives true fulfillment from fostering and nurturing his team, aiding them in their professional growth and success.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hampton University and a Master's in Health Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Outside of his professional endeavors, John finds solace in his passion for golf and tennis. Notably, he takes pride in his involvement with the 100 Black Men of America and the USTA, coordinating and coaching a tennis program for underserved high school students.

His transformative experience during a mission trip to Kenya in 2019 ignited John's dedication to combat modern-day slavery and human trafficking. Witnessing firsthand the profound impact of slavery and trafficking on women, girls, and their families, John resolved to advocate for change. John eagerly anticipates channeling his passion into advocacy with Freedom United, rallying support from all those affected by modern-day slavery and sex trafficking.
