Malaysia’s proposal to deduct 20% from migrant workers’ salaries stalls

Thanks to the Freedom United community’s efforts we’re pleased to share that we’ve kept Malaysia’s government proposal to allow employers to deduct 20% of migrant workers’ salaries at bay. This proposal would have left migrant workers at greater risk of debt bondage and exploitation.
