Three Arrested in Massage Parlor Sex Trafficking

Another arrest was made for allegedly promoting sex trafficking and prostitution in massage parlors…

Li Fei Leng was the third person arrested for helping coerce two women into sex with men at two massage parlors.  Leng managed the facilities which were owned by a husband and wife in West Hempstead and Franklin Square, Nassau County prosecutors said. The owners pleaded not guilty last month.  Acting Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas said, “Victims of sex trafficking experience the horrors of modern-day slavery and the criminals who profit from oppression must face harsh penalties.”

When no good loan options exist, people turn to loan sharks who charge high interest rates. These unscrupulous lenders are working together with traffickers. When the loan comes due, if they can’t pay, they or their family members find themselves fast-tracked to modern slavery.
