Many call it “modern day slavery,” and Tennessee is starting to see that it is happening in their own state. FBI Knoxville Agent Cynthia Deitle: “In sex trafficking, specifically, traffickers – or pimps – target young girls. Traffickers know where to find the victims, and they know a lot of young kids are on these social media sites.”
The U.K.'s Labour government is facing backlash over its proposed border security bill, which retains key elements of controversial policies of the previous Conservative government that restrict protections for trafficking survivors and allow for the detention of unaccompanied child migrants.
